This week CBI lesson is focus on what operations management means. Also, why operations management is important in all types of organisations. Moreover, the tutoring sessions evaluate the input–transformation–output process and the process hierarchy. Lastly, the coaching sessions look at the different characteristics of operations processes and the activities of operations management.
Any action or combination of operations that takes one or more inputs, changes and adds value to them, and offers outputs for consumers or clients is referred to as a transformation process.
